Reading

These apply to the Qur'an, the routines and the ayah of the day.

Prayer times

Worked out on this device from the sun's position at your location, so they work with no internet. They can differ by a few minutes from your local mosque; choose the method it follows if you know it.

Reminders

A gentle notification for the prayers, the daily adhkar, Friday's Surah Al-Kahf and, if you like, two verses a day. You choose each one and its time.

To send reminders, a small server keeps a private address for this phone and the times you chose. It does not keep your location, your name, what you read, or which verses are picked, but the times can show roughly which part of the world you are in. Turning reminders off deletes it.

Use without internet

Download the whole app once: every page, the daily routines, all recitations and the entire Qur'an. After that it opens with no connection. Everything stays on this device.

Account

Optional. Sign in on each device to see the same reading days, streak, bookmarks and place everywhere.

An account keeps a copy of your reading days, streak, bookmarks, place in the Qur'an, today's ticks and reading settings on a small server, so each device you sign in on shows the same progress. It is stored under your username with no email, and your password never leaves your phone in readable form. There is no way to reset a forgotten password by yourself. Your location and reminders are not part of it.

Your progress

Your reading days, streak, bookmarks and place live only on this device. Deleting the app removes them. Save a backup file before you delete or switch phones, then restore it in the new copy.
